Biodiversity Survey Results

Published: 22 January 2025

Following our recent questionnaire on how the Parish Council should respond to the twin challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss, the PC would like to warmly thank all those residents who took the time and effort to respond. Your ideas will help formulate our actions for the future.

In summary, of those who contributed, most were concerned about loss of natural habitats and least concerned about putting emergency planning in place. Comments on speed, traffic and the condition of the roads were also prevalent, as was concern about planning. Some residents raised the need for more joined up thinking, as these problems are all connected. A number of you, were pleased that we are considering these issues and trying to find solutions within our small community.

If you would like to view some of the varied comments that the PC received, you can view them here.

We will discuss the points you have raised and actions we can take as a PC to resolve some of these. Please look out for future correspondence. We may well ask residents to volunteer in initiatives!
