Remove as prolific fruiting bodies of Ganoderma and Meripilus at base indicating basal and root decay x 1 Beech (T21), remove as fruiting bodies of Meripilus at base indicating basal and root decay, unsuited to retention alongside the highway x 1Beech (T21a), crown reduce by circa 7 - 8m to reduce loading. Pruning should be undertaken to suitable side branches where feasible as loss of co-dominant stem at circa 7 - 11m above ground level has resulted in extensive decay, the crown exhibits significant loading on this weakened point x 1 Beech (T23), remove dead and dying stems x 1 Sycamore, x 1 Ash (G24), reduce height to circa 10m above ground level to retain lower stem as ecological resource due to advanced dieback x 2 Sycamore (T25 & T26), reduce height to circa 10m above ground level to retain lower stem as ecological resource as prolific fruit bodies of Meripilus giganteus at base x 1 Beech (T27) and reduce to circa 3m above ground level to retain lower stem as ecological resource, remove limb that extends toward the southwest as two small cavities on western side of stem, at ground level, revealing extensive internal decay, some older fruit bodies of Kretzschmaria deusta at base and liable to failure x 1 Beech (T28)
