Filming in Hambleden

Published: 15 April 2025

The villages in Hambleden Parish are frequently seen on the screen, both for films and T.V.

Our Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is valued both as a place to live and a location for filming.

Cllr Sammy Webb acts as a point of contact when filming companies make their enquiries, referring them to the relevant peoples, as well as negotiating with companies for a donation to the Film Fund. Any money donated by film companies is held by the Parish Council, in a separate bank account for the benefit of the Parish.
Local organisations are invited to request aid from this fund for their various projects. We have donated to several Hambleden Celebrations, Frieth CEC School, Skirmett Village Hall, Hambleden Village Hall, Fingest Church, the Lady Ryder Memorial Garden at Parmoor, Frieth Brownies, Hambleden FC, the Howson Project and Frieth Village Society.
The Parish Council would like to remind parishioners that any suggestions for community groups requiring funding, should please contact us. Mention your request to one of the Parish Councillors or email the clerk. Further information can be found on the Film Fund page.
